Bio

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher with the Inria Centre at the University of Bordeaux in the AUCTUS team, since September 2024.

I obtained the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from New York University in May 2024, under the supervision of Ludovic Righetti (NYU). During my Ph.D., I also benefited from close scientific guidance by Nicolas Mansard (LAAS–CNRS) in the context of an extended international research stay. From 2020 to 2022, I conducted part of my doctoral research on-site at LAAS–CNRS within the Gepetto Team. I received the M.Sc. degree (“Diplôme d’Ingénieur”) from Ecole Centrale de Nantes and the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in March 2019.

Research

My main scientific objective is to endow modern robots with the ability to physically interact with uncertain environments. This ability is crucial in order to deploy robots in the real world (e.g. assist humans in manual labor), where physical contact is ubiquitous.
